The goal of the academy is to select those students who are most likely to benefit from a Christian school program while contributing to the overall well-being of the school community. Admission is based on selected criteria that include an academic screening, prior school records and achievement test scores (when applicable), evidence of good moral character, and a successful interview.

How to Apply
If enrolling a student in Preschool (K3 or K4), begin with step #3. If enrolling a student in Kindergarten (K5) at the start of the school year, begin with step #3. After December, once the school year has started, begin with step #1.
1. Student Recommendation
Each applicant entering 1st – 8th grade must have a Student Recommendation completed by the current or most recent teacher or principal and parent. This must include a copy of the most recent report card and if possible the most recent test scores. The Student Recommendation is only required of students in K5 if the school year has already begun.
2. Academic Screening
Each applicant entering the 1st – 8th grade will be given an academic screening to determine if the applicant is working at the grade level consistent with KCA standards and the A Beka Curriculum. Students in K5 will only be screened if the school year has already begun. The fee is $25.00 and due at the time of the screening. Upon completion a member of the administration will interview the applicant and the parents as well as review the results of the screening. At that time it will be determined if it is necessary to continue with the enrollment process. Due to the structure and advanced demands of the curriculum, we are unable to accommodate students with IEPs, with the exception of Speech Therapy. Speech Therapy is available through the OCPS non-public school services.
3. Interview
Each family must complete an interview with a member of the administration. A time may be set up through the school office at 407-295-8901 or you may complete an Online Inquiry Form. Appointment times are available Monday through Friday between 9:30am and 2:30pm while school is in session and last about 45 minutes.
4. Application
Once the above steps are completed and a student has been accepted, you may click the link below to create the New Student Secure Online Application.
5. Financial Obligation
Upon completing the application, you will be directed to the online application fee payment center to pay the Application Fee of $75.00 for the 1st student and $50.00 for each additional student. For students entering preschool there is a Book and Supply Rental Fee of $150.00 per student. For students without SUFS entering K5-8th Grade the Book and Supply Rental Fee is $200.00. These fees are non-refundable and due at the time of enrollment.
For tuition payments we utilize a tuition management company, FACTS. If you will need to break down your tuition payments into monthly installments, you must set up an account with FACTS at www.online.factsmgt.com.
If your child has the Step Up For Students Scholarship, you must provide the office with a copy of the award letter. It may be emailed to kca@kingswaychristianacademy.com or provided in the school office.
6. Completed Enrollment
The above steps must be completed, including the online application and all necessary fees paid, plus the required documents submitted either online or in the front office before enrollment is complete. No spaces are held until enrollment is complete.
